I donīt know.. "Donate to our campaign to #saveourculture today. It could be your last chance".. This strong message needs more planification than donations imo but yeah, maybe not going public so soon.

Big Djs could do more too.. i mean, couple of free gigs or something.

I actually have a code, I never ask people to do what they do for a living for free. !! Probably springs from my photographic days when people used to ask me " If they supply the film could I shoot some photos for them??"

More than likely, certain artists have contributed monetary funds on the anonymous tip rather than up front.

^^ I wish more people subscribed to the DIDI code. It would save a lot of unnecessary, uncomfortable pregnant pauses in social situations before you have to go "ah, don't take this personally but I'd rather not."

lol would normally agree with that code.. but considering they are talking about "saving the culture today, it could be your last chance" it looks like a doctor watching someone dying on the street and not helping him for free


Anyway.. they definitely are not obligated to do anything at all.. It would be just a favour considering what Fabric did for them (if thats the case)..

I feel that their donation campaign is quite admirable & honest. So, I have no problem with helping out donation-wise. Especially, with the transparency policy. It really is not just another venue threatened. It is a threat upon everything that we once/do stand for.
