Re: Help Me
For an actual mixer? Cheapest tends to be Behringer...if you're using it at home only.

Try Citronic, KAM, and Reloop, if you want the cheapest reliable ones.

Re: Help Me
Behringer kit i've had in the past has been ok really, better than i expected from it considering price and that people are so quick to knock them. I've had monitors, effects units and compressors which have all been good and never let me down. So, i've always tended to stick up for Behringer products.
Until i bought one of their mixers

Fucking awful. Of 4 channels, 2 have burnt out on me already. The faders are terrible, they hve no resistance at all and no feel. If you slam one to the top (or bottom) it has a habit of bouncing back. I reckon if you used the fucking thing outside the wind could change the levels.
Teh curve of the faders is non-linear, fair enough but the curve at the top of the fader is so steep that noticeable jumps in level are unavoidable, nothing smooth about them in any respect, physically or sonically
The effects are shite as wellComment
