True, old story too. Are Hot Chip more deserving of an essential mix spot? I hope they play Sasha's "remix" of Flutes before Involv3r gets out (around December). That would be so funny.

You're right of course (nothing new), I just took particular notice this evening on the eve of the album release.

What has Hot Chip done for anyone lately, especially with the last album released 2 years ago. I don't understand the rationale for whom they select (unless it's the aforementioned Sasha connection). I actually tried emailing BBC Radio One through the EMix page to offer a recommendation (instead of direct to Pete Dong)...got a mail returned undeliverable, go figya'.
