Americans!

Re: Americans!

I remember reading articles before the War on Terror began saying that like only 15% of American troops could point out Afghanistan on a map, and less than that for Iraq, etc.

I think he was about as serious as my pizza comment. It's those Slovenians that you need to watch for...

Re: Americans!

well unfortunately most americans don't realize that there is a whole world of music outside of mtv too. Ignorance does run rampant. It might just have been someone from a small city that asked your friend that. I have no clue and i'm not going to try to back up what that person said...it's just utter stupidity to think that people from the UK speak another language.

[peloquin]

Re: Americans!

its even worse/just as bad to think that english is an american language rather than a language that americans have bastardized. imo. criminal.

Exactly! Before i used to always make fun of the americans for being sketchy. Now i see the sketch everywhere in the world.. It's sad..

Re: Americans!

^^^ That is the truth.

Look at soccer hooligans. Heard about some dude who promised he would cut his balls off if his "football" team, they did...and he did. And American's are dumb? It's everywhere.

Funny how I've never been asked a question in one of these crazy polls you always read about. I can't think of one in recent memory me or anyone I know couldn't answer correctly in .215987165 seconds. Targeting trailer parks in MO and homeless people is going to give you slanted results right?

It's just like people thinking rednecks are only in the South. There are rednecks all over the world. Maybe not the barefoot, toothless, backwater American type, but people with the same mentality.
