A techno set, I'll have another listen but I was not that interested to begin with.

Strange comment...what were you expecting to play? Progressive trance?

Re: Sasha @ Last Night On Earth Party, Blue Parrot - Playa del Carmen, Mexico (16.01.

Upon second listen this is actually a pretty good set...more energy and uptempo than usual.

Re: Sasha @ Last Night On Earth Party, Blue Parrot - Playa del Carmen, Mexico (16.01.

Probably the worst set he's ever played. Dreadful.

Worst set? That's a bit of a stretch. Hyperbole much?

Re: Sasha @ Last Night On Earth Party, Blue Parrot - Playa del Carmen, Mexico (16.01.

No. Its how I feel. Its a racket. One extreme to another imo. Boring soulless plodding mundaneness straight to ear bleed techno. Mid life?

[lord lucan]

Re: Sasha @ Last Night On Earth Party, Blue Parrot - Playa del Carmen, Mexico (16.01.

Ah whatever. I just don't like any of the shit he plays nowadays, its just habit i keep listening to it. I don't like Digweed either he's a racket too. At least he's professional though and i really like Transitions when hes not playing his brand of noisy mono techno

prefer listening to mixes by unknowns nowadays. People like Simon Langham on Bedrock.

Have to agree with Lord Lucan here, I listen to his sets these days with little expectation as most of them have been pretty dull, his Melbourne set had its moments but this one just has nothing, no hook lines no real stand out tracks, maybe you had to be there to fully appreciate it

As "Lord Lucan" would say: not relevant.

Re: Sasha @ Last Night On Earth Party, Blue Parrot - Playa del Carmen, Mexico (16.01.

Yeah not relevant for most of the last 20 years. People just kind of say "fair play" because he's still going and respect the fact that he was once great.
He reminds me a little of Status Quo
