    Not necessarily "broke"; the tables sometime get written wrong either on a corruption, freeze, or power shutdown, so Windows won't "recognize" the folder structures, yet they are all still there and relatively intact.

        Go get a western digital 250 gig and back up your stuff.
        DVD isw nice idea but time consuming
        I have 3 250 gig drives on controler card
        can never have enough space
