Kompakt is an extraordinary label. It has many quality releases from great producers such as Michael Mayer, Reinhard Voigt, Justus Kohncke, SCSI-9, The Orb, Rex the Dog and many others.

It's absurd to say Kompakt is not dancefloor-friendly. It all depends on the audience: it's quiet evident that an intransigent proghead won't dig it.

Thanks for the info about those other labels. I'm mostly fond of the old Plastikman stuff and Thomas Brinkmann and Mike Ink, when I think of minimal techno-house.
