Just stepped outside and watched another successful shuttle launch. I took two pictures, but they didn't come out that great. Did anyone else get a chance to see the launch, or capture any pics?
i was on the beach about 50 miles north of the launch. it was my first one and it was very very cool. someone sitting near me said that the flame was about a half mile long behind the shuttle. that's one serious flame.
I tried to watch it out the window at work but there was too many clunds where I was. It is cool as shit to see, isn't it?? Anyone ever seen it at night??

Yep, went down to the cape one night for a launch. We had gotten a few passes and it was truely spectacular. If anyone ever has the opportunity to go and see it at night, go!
I'd love to actually go to the launch site for a launch. I mean, I've seen it before...during the day...and with no shuttle. :? Not quite the same I'm sure.
