Re: Right click has been taken off??
CTRL + C is the Windows shortcut to copy something. Highlight the link with your mouse and copy the info by pressing CTRL + C. Open another IE windows and paste the link again by using the shortcut CTRL + V and hit Enter.Originally posted by DHperunow that we can't right click anymore, what can we do to save links and such...any advice??Comment

yeah thats fine for opening another window but it doesn't let you "save as" so if someone posts a set link you're a bit screwedOriginally posted by mario belteryeah, but there is not much difference between one click, or one click+pessing one key, is it?Originally posted by xebme tooOriginally posted by StuStupid move, I much prefer to open different forums and threads in new windows but now I need to use a keyboard shortcut

That also doesn't work unless the whole link is displayed, ie if someone uses the [url = webaddress]click me[ / url ] coding then you're screwedOriginally posted by TomTomCTRL + C is the Windows shortcut to copy something. Re: Right click has been taken off??
Ok, any recommendations for a spy-ware free manager? I got an old version of dap that is not much intrusive but when I wanted to install it on my laptop there was only a new one available which is shit. Does getright have multiple connections?Originally posted by betoInstall getright or another download manager and just click on the link.Originally posted by DHperuHey peoples, this isn't me whining or complaining but i was just wondering now that we can't right click anymore, what can we do to save links and such...like i was planning to download the second part of cattaneo's Metrodance set which was AWESOME by the way, but now i cant "save target as" anymore...
any advice??

I use getright... has multiple connections and captures links on any browser. No spyware included.Originally posted by ubiqeOk, any recommendations for a spy-ware free manager? hehehe... Really, I think it's pretty stupid for browsers like IE to let anyone with some javascript knowledge determine what can or can't do with your mouse :?Originally posted by ubiqeOriginally posted by betoOr use a non-javascript-hijackable browser as Opera...

Read what E posted in the first posting of this thread here: http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/...pic.php?t=1632 ...it?s a problem with our hosting service we are facing since yesterday and disabling the save as option is getting on my nerves as well but we needed to do something quick to be back online. E is working on a better solution for this problem so be sure this limitation won't last forever. For the problem when people use "[url = webaddress]click me[ / url ] coding" like you said, just quote the posting and you will see the entire link because the source text will be displayed when you quote somebody and you can copy it easily with CTRL + C then.Originally posted by xebThat also doesn't work unless the whole link is displayed, ie if someone uses the [url = webaddress]click me[ / url ] coding then you're screwedOriginally posted by TomTomCTRL + C is the Windows shortcut to copy something.
