Long time no see, Sbandy! The versus with James Grant sets tend to get lost in a safer prog-by-numbers quagmire. The Jody solo sets still often hit the right cord with me because but he's more adventurous (the Stimming track here is pretty phat, as is a Jody ID a few tunes later with some tremendous funk and a smorgasbord of samples). I also never imagined I'd get to hear what a Boards of Canada vs Way Out West collaboration might sound like, but I got it here. Yea, there's some homogenization still (I think he does a lot of preplanning of sets versus being more off the cuff before the Anjunadeep mindmeld), but still a lot to enjoy as well:
