without a doubt the best set for me this year which was also the most debated topic I have ever seen since been a member here was

John Digweed - Fabric - February 05

Alex Dolby kiss mix rocked

Re: It's Time For The Best Sets Of 2005

To be honest, I don?t bother with the "big jocks" anymore.
Plus, I?m afraid about the way the "promos and recommendations"-subforum
is going. I mean, only Hernan, Digweed, Sasha, you don?t even catch a set
from the board-members like Jibby or Rich Woods.

To get on topic, my favourite sets would be
- Alex Under - Live@Sonar, Barcelona 18-06-2005
- Tyler Stadius - Mercurysessions guestmix (OK... this would be a "big-jock")
- Darkarma - Live from Loaded, wmc05
- Habersham&Numinous - Live in Melbourne
- Rob Dowell - Sections
- Rob Dowell - Equinox
- Rob Dowell - Pattern development

Some Pappa mixes from this year was very good too.. Maybe they wasn't released to the public, they were some black recorded live sets....

Re: It's Time For The Best Sets Of 2005

i agree with Chatterbot. i think the promo and recommendations forum is outstanding and i never would have got a hold of the sets i have without it but where are the locals and board members? granted, it is tough to place your mix alongside the big guys but still i'd like to see it.......that aside....

Shiloh- July Electrofly mix
Salim B- Dreaming about you
Digweed- live in Dubai

Re: It's Time For The Best Sets Of 2005

hmm no votes for Martin Garcia's mix on Kiss?

Like LV, I'm way the fuck behind, but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Martin Garcia's guest mix. That set was absolutely dripping with goodness.
