REDNEX NEWS! Good News For People Who Like Both Good & Bad News!

Howdy!

We have some good and bad news for all you Rednex fans, that some of you have already noted. We start with the bad news – Scarlet has unfortunately left the group. We are sad about this and so is Scarlet. She was with Rednex for nearly 4 years and was fantastic in every aspect. We will miss her dearly. We hope that she will write a letter to all of you to tell you how she is doing, maybe it will come soon. For you, who don’t want to wait, you can write to her directly at scarlet@rednexmania.com.

And then for the good news, now the female singer in Rednex is none other than – Mary Joe!!! Yeppedido! Mary Joe is back in Rednex. She was with Rednex from the very beginning and is the voice on all the old hits – “Cotton-Eye Joe” – “Old Pop In An Oak” – “Wish You Were Here” etc. She left the group in 1997 to do a solo career but is now back on the road to keep up the power.

Due to the change, we will not do so much touring during the winter except for a few rare gigs such as being in Germany on New Years, but for the summer we will back on the road with an ever increasing intensity!
