I just beat Vice City. sweatly palms. Checked the stats, and I finished it with 95%... I'm not too sure how much farther I'll get. Maybe 97. I should have just enough time to get up there before the new one comes out
*giggity*

They have a somewhat-interactive map of San Andreas up now, with some pictures/videos of the locations... check it out.
One of the videos shows Lombard Street?
Another shows a Valet Parking mission (Like the Taxis mission, I guess)
Another shows a not-very-happy teen serving food at Cluckin' Bell
Another shows a lovebus chugging through Haight & Ashbury
Another shows a Pay & Spray shop in action
Another shows using a crane to deliver cars to an import/export (garage) boat
Another shows an airplane flying above the clouds (!) around the mountains and forest.
Hell yeah... this game's gonna be sweet.

Re: GTA San Andreas NEW SCREENSHOTS
i dunno if eating and watching your characters weight will add a fun element to the game, or an extremely tedious and repeditive gameplay element...
whatever the case, this game hasn't changed one bit im thinking and will be the same old gta.Leave a comment:

I got to 70% of GTA3 before buying Vice City... I should have kept track of what I had so I could've gotten the 100 (or near it.) I just couldn't find anything new to do in the game because I didn't know what was done and what wasn't. From now on I'll use checklists just so I get the most of of the games.Leave a comment:

i traded in GTA3 after beating it (the story missions anyway, nothing else
) but have been playing vice ever since, great game. this one should be much better though, fresh storyline, additions, and a state to play around not just a city

My roommate isn't home tonight so I have the TV all to myself... I've been playing Vice City for nearly 4 hours now, and I have 99/100 Hidden Packages and 35/36 Unique Jumps. I've gone through all the jumps that I knew that last one had to be, and I STILL only have 35/36 jumps! I just made nearly 20 jumps and I'm just plain stuck, because it doesn't "re-give" you the unique jump. At least with the hidden packages, I have proof that I've gotten that one or not.
I'm at 83% finished, and think the only things I'm not going to accomplish are the Ambulance mission, the Pizza mission, Firefighter mission, and these stupid jumps. And I thought I was going to get 100%.
btw... San Andreas is due to release in less than a month! nearly 250 screenshots can be found here:

And don't forget the two trailers!

Re:: GTA San Andreas NEW SCREENSHOTS
The problem is that the PC version will be reined back by compromises for the consoles, something which is more and more the case these days.Originally posted by palmerOf course you aren't going to have high poly characters or highly detailed environments. So either you get a smaller environment or "bad graphics". I'm actually impressed with the character modelling considering what compromises they are forced to make.Leave a comment:
