My mrs is a classically trained pianist (it's hers)... but I have since found out that I could use this sucker with Reason, so I've been using it of late when writing tracks.

Holy cow, that looks nice. but what's the keyboard for? Since there's no other studio gear around.

if they didn't have the yellow surround in the speakers you could have said they were old Genelecs.

they are an unreleased prototype KRK. HAHAHA, yeah i wish. they are a pair of sony bookshelf speakers that i bought for like $100 at best buy. i have no complaints though, they work and sound good, and have a solid low-end punch.

oh and they are sitting atop some old 15" kenwood floorstanding speakers that are about 10 years old.

THANKS!!! The pcv-275 is great. its the mixer that i should've gotten first but opted for a cheaper stanton POS. it have the rotary kit for it, so its given me the ability to learn both linear and rotary styles of mixing. at the moment, im at a point where i've outgrown it and want to upgrade to the DJM-800 and add a pair of CDJ1000s this year.

Yes some vegetation is always great.

One speaker is on top of the record shelf and the other is placed on the other side of the room (in front of monitors) atop another mini shelf of vinyl.

I guess I should have taken pics of that as well. I'll do that later today, gonna bet on some horsies at Santa Anita in a while.
