    Re Pulp Fiction, per an interview I saw with Tarantino:

    1. Tarantino intentionally left the contents of the case to our imagination.
    2. Marcellus Wallace wore a Band-Aid on the back of his head simply because Ving Rhames cut his head shaving that day -- it wasn't supposed to be in the movie, although it has been the source of much speculation...

    isnt that the point of the case? nobody really knows what was in it... i always assumed it was heroin, and the shininess was some kind of metaphor.. but everyone interprets things differently :P
