Re: Where do you suggest getting music from dj's not wanted on this site (PVD, Tiesto)?
djmixes2k used to do quite a lot of trance sets, not been on there in a while though so not quite sure what they do these days...
granted, a lot of trance is rubbish, just like a lot of progressive / techno music can be rubbish. Its just a case of finding the decent producers and DJs who are moving things forward. It just genre's, dont be so negative (especially the mods)

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...

Re: Where do you suggest getting music from dj's not wanted on this site (PVD, Tiesto)?
I guess the thread should have asked the question without Tiesto's name and maybe just said, where can I donwload other elctro genre's such as house, hard house and trance. Once the name Tiesto gets thrown in there, all hell breaks loose.

Sometimes it's sad for me to read how people flame other Music genres..I wish this community would be a bit more open minded and tolerant but I guess live and let live is not going to happen on this issue. I just think it's funny to read how people go mad if somebody posts the slightest negative comment about their favourite DJ but on the other side, if it's a DJ they don't like, the flame thrower is ready to launch.
I agree with you and Palmer. I hate how time and time again I have to defend my likes for other music.....it shouldn't have to be that way, but unfortunately with trance it always is. I love most styles of EDM and will always give a new style a chance. I will never bash another style as I respect the work it takes for the dj's to make there music.
speciale will know I hate this topic as we have been on many forums together debating it. I will never bash tiesto or another dj, even if I don't really like them. I respect the work they put into their music, and the part of them they are expressing
sigpic RIP Steve "Jibs" James - Your footprint is forever on my soul and in my heart xoxo RIP Jeff Shewchuk aka DJ Jeff Taylor (day_for_night) - You will live on in my heart forever xoxo
Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
