How do you get rid of old vinyl?

Re: How do you get rid of old vinyl?

Just try and remember how much money
you doled out to get them in the first place.
My crates are usually the only things
that get special attention during moves.

As groff said, it's a pain moving them every time you change house (which i seem to do a lot) and my mom is on my case cos they are taking up space in her house!

Think I may wait until there is a vinyl revival one day and try to make some money back on them!

Shit why not set up some sort
of barter/trade with the vinyl/Equip, etc.
for MS'ers

Just sell them to local record stores or just keep them.

hmmm, I hadn't considered selling them to a local store... I'll look into it.

Hey all the people I know who are just starting are using cd players. If any ms'ers are just starting out on vinyl, let me know, and I can give you some records.

I still buy both digital and vinyl. Not all vinyl tracks are on digital format.

Re: How do you get rid of old vinyl?

stores don't buy them back for very much... i tried that with satellite here and i couldn't force myself to give them back for a dollar after i bought them for $12 at the same place.

How about a [ms] amnesty bin for those dodgy records you bought on impulse & regretted after 2 listens.
