also i agree on the High School, etc thing... but lets face it... arguing about how realistic a show about people running around the country with superpowers is is kinda pointless. there will be plot holes and its better just to ignore them

Eden was killed off due to a contract dispute. they were planning on killing her off 6 episodes later than they did, but the contract problem meant they had to do it earlier. i'm sure if the contract had worked out her death later on would have seemed more pivotal. but they werent like "ooh we need to kill someone off before the break, lets go with... um.... er... eden!"

I thought the dude got the geek community voting for her, they were cheering her on when the results came out. Didn't she only punched the other kid AFTER being voted homecoming?

Ok, agree your point about Eden's powers, but I just felt that character-wise, her taking off on her own to kill Sylar, there was not much leadup to it. Throughout the series, there wasn't enough motivation and buildup that lead to it, besides the final scene when she confronted Sylar about him killing Prof. Suresh. So it felt like a copout where the writer just decided she's gotta die.

Anyway I think that's what bugged me about the episode.

the punch got her elected, not him.

eden dying was neccessary if you factor in that her ability would make everyone but the hatiain useless in fighting sylar, if he got her power, no one could stop him. so sshe sacrificed.

Oh, I thought Eden dying was totally pointless and unnecessary. Also, the father had Claire's friend and brother's memories erased. So the guy has no recollection of ever knowing her since a certain grade. Isn't there gonna be some discrepency because he just helped her become homecoming queen by getting the fellow "geeks" to vote for her?

yeah, 5 week wait. US holiday shows will be devouring the networks from here till new years.

and i think they are going to make hiro an extremely pivotal character in the long run. lets face it, and no spoilers here, but we already know..... (not factoring this weeks episode to avoid spoilers until tomorrow's replay)

1. he knows he cant change the past
2. he has stressed ''responsibility to use use the powers to save ppl
3. he knows he can alter the future
4. we know there is a SEVERE war in the future, and he plays a major role (remember the train scene from week 3?)
5. he, also based on that train scene, might be a leader of sorts.

we know sylar is out, young petrelli is the actual bomb, and not the guy from the hospital, older petrelli might not be entirely good, the father is independent, and the haitain isnt exactly listening to him, issaac and hiro are combining big time for the ''good'', and the bad, who knows where sylar is headed.

crazy episode, definately a good cliffhanger. would have liked a bit more advancement in hiro's storyline but definately soom good plot twists with other characters.

I agree 100% hiro is the man.. i love that dude so i would of liked his character to unravel a little more. No other complaints about the episode. Unbelievable is what it was.. lol..
