dont mention mexico, half that countries socialist economy is funded by our capitalist economy, and yes, most of thier money comes from the US.

I believe money sent back home from the USA is the second largest contributor. The largest is their oil exports. But we're splitting hairs.

People seem to get these concepts confused, however. For example, they will call a government "communist" or "socialist". This is wrong. The economy is communist or socialist. The government is something totally different.

For example... the economy in North Korea is communist. But the goverment is a military dictatorship.

Until we get Democracy correct 100%...Theoretical Socialism is STILL the best way to run a nation. ANYONE who plays or enjoys a TEAM sport, should understand what I say.

You are confusing terms.


Democracy is a form of government. Socialism is a form of economy. You can have a democracy and still be socialist.


There are 3 basic economic forms in the world:

Capitalism - All private ownership of business
Socialism - Some private ownership, some state ownership
Communism - All state ownership of business


Some basic forms of government are:

Democracy
Republic
Monarchy
Despotism
Anarchy
