^ the booking was removed from his record i believe. obvious referee fuck up.. one of many this past weekend..

refereeing is getting worse and worse... they suspended that bloke who booked the blackburn (was it?) player twice without sending him off

^^^ I'm not either, but I do think Drogba is a great footballer, and he deserves one ( well, I think he got two) after being robbed of a penalty this weekend, again bad officiating. Not only was he robbed of a PK, he got booked for a dive.

game over and soccernet says "IT'S ALL OVER! Arsenal have scraped through their first European match of the season. A 1-0 scoreline was just enough for the Gunners, but they'll need to do much better than this in the future, you feel." :P

chelski did do the biz, kinda nice to see drogba get a goal, even tho im not a chelsea fan obviously

^^^ 1-0 on an own goal by PSV. I've been reading the commentary on soccernet, didnt look as if they were as comfortable in the second half as they were in the 1st.

Chelsea sure handled their business, albeit against the perennial powerhouse that is PSG, lol.

reading the updates on soccernet, doesnt seem like the arse are playing all that well... im sure a 1-0 win will satisfy them, but who knows what will happen when it gets to the crunch stages

Of course they are unbeatable when the refs call back goals scored on them and then turn around a penalty because they apparently forgot that cant happen against the mighty Gunners. lol

If Real Madrid doesnt win it then they need to buy some more players! Fucks sake, now they want Gerrard? The owner must think he is playing bloody FIFA 2005 on playstation. He makes Abramovich look like someone who actually cares about the game.

i'd like to see an Arsenal v Real final, with Paddy Vieira smashing in the winner from 30 yards in the last minute. dreams.

Last season, Arsenal were really unlucky not to go all the way. Chel$ki didn't deserve to get to the semi-finals. All that filthy money. grrrr.

Reyes is playing like a comic footballer, Roy of the Rovers. We bring him on and he changes the game. I wonder what impact he'll have on our Champions League fortunes. Very pensive about the defence without Sol. Anyway I'm off to Highbury now, I'll try and take some pics for you guys...and try to not look like a tourist.
