of cors the blame falls on the freak that pulled the trigger ... but when you start thinking why he did this and how .. who else is there to blame ? his parents for his upbringing? video games ? movies ? guns manufacturers ?

the sole purpose of a gun is to kill ... i enjoy shooting but i dont own a gun .. never though about it really ... but i do think there should be WAY more control over whos buying and whatnot

I see what your saying but it's wrong. Guns are desgined to murder people. You shouldn't allow the general population to have guns because some of the general population are dangerous and possibily insane.

hunting rifles only to public. and record the signature to a valid ID upon sale. let em know they bear the responsibility. and ban person to person sales. if you have no use for a gun, bring it to the police, and let them send to a retailer for resale.

handguns, dont even sell em outside of cops and to ppl like me who sat for the test and backround check for a carrying permit. frankly, im glad i have mine, there are times where i have to carry an asinine amount of cash for payrolls.... but i did it right. not some hommie in the bronx looking to flash some shit.

should we start banning cars because ppl run each other down and get into accidents?
do we sue food stores for making america disgustingly obese?
do we sue global manufacturing and energy producers b/c die of skin cancer?

There's sick fucks everywhere, we have shootings almost every week, but nothing on the scale of some crazed lunatic wanting to take down half a school.

I agree, banning guns won't completely rid us of this sort of thing, but surely it will go some way to help preventing it.

There's no doubt the blame for this callous act lays firmly at the feet of the guy who pulled the trigger. But as I stated earlier, 19 shootings like this in 10 years, man, how can you not start to ask questions?

not to argue, but more to devil advocate it..

or more at home to the clubbing community, cigarettes and booze? those deaths are exponetially higher.
