"The director said the new short film explains what the band has been doing with their lives lately. Nigel has been raising miniature horses to race, but can't find jockeys small enough to ride them; David is now a hip-hop producer who also runs a colonic clinic; and Derek is in rehab for addiction to the Internet."

Re: Spinal Tap to reunite!

how can a band that never really existed, reunite. They were a funny comedy act, and that's about it.

did have some cool looking guitars though.

Re: Spinal Tap to reunite!

This is Spinal Tap was an incredibly funny and poignant movie. So why not a fake reunion of fake band?

Re: Spinal Tap to reunite!

funny I knew someone would say something bout that...yes, it was quite the commentary on the big hair, rock and roll lifestyle of the day and they managed to keep it smart rather than just playing the easy stereotypical rock band.

couldn't agree more!

The best scene in the movie is when Nigel is interviewed while playing the piano and says he is heavily influenced by Bach and Mozart. When they ask him the name of the song he wrote, Nigel says "well this piece is called Lick my Love Pump"

"I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece...."
