Why do u think that the warmer climate areas seem to be underdeveloped? Most warm countries are poor.. Why? I thin k it is because up in the north we needed to develop technology because we needed heat.. Down south they just chill out all day so i don't really feel that bad for them.. Don't get me wrong 600 deaths are tragic and i feel bad they died but as for bad weather i don't care they deserve it.. Its always nice there..

ummm, basing that because a climate is hot? hahaha, dude, the reason the are undeveloped is because they are poor, not because they didn't develop heaters/air conditioners.

Pardon me sir, but you're an asshole. I lost power for 6 days because of Hurricane Charley and countless others had it worse off than me. Numerous people died in this state and a few others as a result of the storms we've had. Now you're telling me that because I get to endure rain virtually every day during the summer coupled with 100% humidity and 95 degree (F) heat, that I deserve it? Did you even see the image of that tractor trailer dangling over the edge of a bridge that had been washed out? He lost his life. That's one death...and you know what...he was from Washington state. Explain that you insensitive mama's boy.

That's I-10 going through Pensacola. I just drove on that bridge 3 weeks ago going to and coming from New Orleans. No telling how long I-10 will be shut down.

Yeah, kinda looks like that one. The Weather Channel had a guy at the foot of the Gandy during Frances and waves were crashing over the retaining wall that's there and completely covering him. Was impressive considering that storm approached from the opposite coast!
