Woo Hoo, I made Staff Sergeant!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out that I made the next rank of Staff Sergeant. I don't actually sew the stripe on for a couple of months, but just knowing I don't have to worry about testing again for a couple of years is sweet. Whew!!!. Now for more responsiblity i don't necessarily want. hooah!

thats the enliste rank structure. I will basicall have troops under me soon. plus standards are set a lot higher now, and I make more money

It's a promotion basically. No KP, they contract that out now I had it in basic training though, on my 21st birthday from 0230- 2030. that sucked

Thanks to all. I'm definitely glad I'm not in the Army either. 6 months down range is a lot better than 18.

And to Chuckc, No I'm actually stationed at Ramstein in Germany.I grew up right outside of the gate of Macdill in Tampa though. I 'm actually 3rd generation Air Force, so it's pretty much in the blood.
