no i would disagree^^ he does get big films but he seems to do hit and miss i.e. bot good and shit films. He should choose scripts..
Again with this film we see Ridley Scott really does like Denzel, good film although thre are some issues to pick on but worth the watch.Leave a comment:

Denzel is top quality man, i have liked him as an actor since he started up.
He does'nt get the recognition he deserves even though he wins awards all the time.

thats exactly what one of my friends told me as we were leaving the movie
i thought the movie was good but seeing how its pretty much a blow/scarface type flick, i dont really care to see it again. seriously though, if you like these kind of flicks then go see it but if you dont and youve seen blow, then youve already seen this movie.Leave a comment:

The acting was great but I felt the having two main storylines
The rise of Denzel's character and the investigation by Crowe's
character left gaps in the overall movie. Either story on its own

Caught this movie on the weekend... definately recommend it.
Denzel and Russell put together top notch performances, I presume one will win an award for sure... great acting, good story line, some great scenes by both actors... a little bit long but I didnt mind as much due to the fact that it was such a good flick...
