Re: Pioneer CDJ 400

It came today! I am so happy with the service provided from these guys (they even placed the cdj in another box to cover what it is so that i don't pay the import tax)
My first impression's are very positive it. it feels well made (unlike the 200) and everything functions really well...I personally prefer the feel of this deck than the 800 although I would say that the 800 is much more convenient for scratching purposes while on the 400 its really a bonus feature to be used once in a while as the plater just doest quite feel right its too elevated as a result of which the surface area allowed for scratching feels kinda small...
However the 1000 reigns undoubtedly supreme over both the 800 and 400 (as its price would suggest)
Personally now that I have tried it I am probably going to get another one
If I had loads of money to spend on equipment I would go for the 1000 mk3 (the 800's are out of the picture as far as I am concerned) but I don't really so the 400 will more than just do. Seriously its a very good deck even if you don't look at the price...it feels more expensive than it is if that makes sense. I haven't yet tried its Digital connection features but when I do I will post back...
