Drinking a bottle of 2000 Chateau Redortier (Cotes du Rhone Villages Beaumes de Venise) right now. Tasty, tasty juice.

Re: Wine
normally i'm anti-resurecting old threads, but a thread on the politics forum was talking about wines, and i just want to say, two-buck-chuck is as good as silver to me. my tastes may not be refined, but the cost can't be beat.
other than that, i stick to Port; love six grapes and aged fladgate.
(if anyone knows a good pinot noir, i'd love to check that out too, have had good experiences with it
)
Oh Port! Love vintage Port. Real old Vintage Port is like velvet, smooth, warm and delicious.
....Pinot Noir. Fantastic, yet expensive compared to most other wines.If you ever want to celebrate, splurge on a bottle of Flowers pinot. $50-$60 range. Worth it imo.
Some good value for Pinot is coming out of New Zealand. Try them. Prices in PA are between $19-$30 for them.
Maybe we can share a glass of port next time Digweed is in town.Leave a comment:
