    That's because he was a jerk about being recorded! If he found out he was being recorded without his approval he would make it so the tape was distorted. He also had a couple of birthday/AAHZ reunions (maybe one other one-can't remember). But I don't think it was recorded, if it was I don't have them.

    THANKS! Sure a lot of classics on these tapes. Didn't he do a 5 hour gig at Firestone in 95ish to promote his positivibe label? For some reason I thought it was on another one of his b-day gigs?? It's hard to find any of his mixes from that era.

    Dave's a really nice guy! I met him back in either 93 or 94 when he was selling off some of his records. We talked for a while and got some of his mix tapes which are awesome. The one I like the most was called "Revolver", some wicked stuff on there but the recording isn't the greatest. When I get a chance I will copy it.

    i befriended him back in 2001 when i was running a show on 93Dance and been bugging him for a recording since then and never got a one. even to this day i still haven't been able to get one from him.
