also im trying to register my ps3 hardware and seemsn that i cant or im doing soemthing wrong...

on here it ask me for the date i bought the ps3 system, i dont know since a friend of mine sold me it......
and also ask me for a serial, on the back of the ps3 but in the opcions

i just put my ps3 online, and i see that in street fighter 4 there isnt alot of players, not sure if im on mexico server or something, also i cant join playstation home, someone know why?

ok, so i have finally installed ydl on the ps3 and so far pretty impressed; although apparently i have to install mplayer and bunch of other shite to get youtube videos working. also noticed the banners on [ms] do not display. (sure the issue is related to youtube problems - guessing flash/gnash issues)

is anyone else on here running ydl on their ps3? if so any recomendations or user reviews would be appreciated as i am new to linux. feel like a noob all over again.

situation is that a friend of his pawned it in order to pay for christmas presents and my friend got it out of pawn for him and hasnt heard back from him. my friend has $150 in it and just wants to get his money back on it. either way, it's mine now.

haven't been much of a gamer in a few years. between running multiple business and kids barely have time to sleep......but, a friend of mine offered to sell me his 80gb with 2 controllers, charging stand, and a handful of games for $150. SOLD!! Also has a shit ton of preloaded content on the hard drive such as quantum of solace, the new mummy movie and alot of music. looking forward to getting this thing.

If you want to get 1080P output out of your PS3 then yes, you will need an HDMI cable. I don't know if this company ships to Mexico but if possible, I would order cables through www.monoprice.com
They have great prices and that's where I get my cables, etc. Check out the site and you'll see why they're the only place to go to. Local pick-up available for those in the area. They're over in Ontario.

i brought my ps3 to my sister house coz she has a 50" tv, a bravia, so i tried to put the ps3 on 1080p on display settings, but it went in black..... for about 30 secs or so, anyway i have the red white yellow cable, do i need the HDMI cable to put it in that mode?...jezz.....anyway metal gear on that screen looks fucking christ i wanna live with her!
freaking cable hope it doesnt cost to much...

2009 is going to be another great year. They're already developing 3D games for the PS3 to go with the 3D flat screens that are out now. Should be interesting.
