Re: Hey Yankee fans

All I know is that I can't handle the drama and lack of sleep these games have caused me... I have fallen of the wagon and started to drink again...

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hey Yankee fans

The fat lady has sung. And the Red Sox have accomplished the greatest comeback in the history of the game. Against a $190 million payroll at that!

Who's your daddy now!

[buckman]

Re: Hey Yankee fans

dont forget the biggest collapse in history

Re: Hey Yankee fans

^^
What seemed like the impossible a few days ago is now a reality. Unbelievable, grats to the red sox.

[skahound]

Was A-Rod crying at the end? Sure looked like it to me.

[Jibgolly]

congrats to the red sox. they played hard and earned the impossible.
i tip my hat. but they are not my daddy!

Re: Hey Yankee fans

Wow...might I actually have interest in the World Series this year??!!! I'm no baseball fan, about the only time I can get into it is the Series. But I am a sports fan. Seeing any team get that big of a monkey off their back is good theatre.

Now comes The Big One!!!! Can the Sox do it??!!! Can they break THE CURSE????

Who knows...but I will actually care about the World Series this year. Who knew???

[CSquare]

hate both the red sox and the yankees but it's always nice to see a team with a $250 million payroll have the biggest choke of any playoff team ever. glad to see the $25 million spent on kevin brown and vasquez come up big

as a dodgers fan, thanks for taking him off our hands and giving us a young stud in brazoban who probably could have helped your bullpen.

[buckman]

one thing thats gonna suck is for the next 2 weeks we are gonna hear about that damn curse

[Steve Graham]

Was A-Rod crying at the end? Sure looked like it to me.

hahaha, I noticed that too, and Jeter. They were probably crying about what Steinbrenner is going to do to them after he spent so much money trying to buy a world series trophy.
A-Rod just needs to quit, as good as he is, he is always on an under acheiving club. He leaves Seattle, they all of a sudden became a good team, he leaves Texas, they all of sudden contend. He goes to the Yankees, and they become the 1st team to up 3-0 and lose the series. A-Rod is a bloody jinx.

[skahound]

A-Rod is a bloody jinx.

Now there's no need to get racist!

Re: Hey Yankee fans

This sucks!!!!!! It''s bad enough to lose, BUT to give up a 3-0 lead and lose the series too the Red Sox... SUCKS ASSSS

It will be a dark winter for me.

[Jenks]

Peter Gammons was cumming all over himself on ESPN last night. The guy literally was slobbering out of the side of his mouth over the Sox. I didn't know wether to laugh, or call a vet for a rabies shot. (if you're not familiar with Gammons long obsession with the Sox, trust me, he was slobbering.)

Was good to see the sox win. Johnny Damon and his hippie doo, DAMN that injun came through! Ortizzle should be series MVP tho.

Gotta hang on for one more night Cards. I'd be a Gammons slobbering idiot if the series ended up Cards v Sox.

Bet your ass i'll be outside the park tonight either trying to get a ticket, or drinking massive amounts of beer at a bar nearby.
