at my new office they stuck me next to the guy i have spoken about before.....

this guy is literally the most annoying person alive and quite posibly the biggest racist i have met in my life and that includes business dealings with some good ol' boys in texas and arkansas.

all day "get the muslims off the planet and we can stop the war"
"if long island kicked out these spics, the kids could get decent jobs"
and so much more. i ignore him, i dont reply when he talks to me directly and yet, he WONT FUCKING STOP. HE KEEPS BITCHING ABOUT RELIGION, RACE AND POLITICS AND WHATEVER ELSE HE CAN HATE ON.

and he is a scammer too. talks about opening a office front because his brother is a CPA and he watns to make money doing taxes in the season. he says"ill just put my brother's name on it"

i hate this person.

do u think its fair for an employer to install camera's in the workshop to watch people working ?

personally i think its more of a phsycological mind trick...the place has been broken into 3 times in recent years and they are using that as an excuse to install camera's INSIDE the workshopbut @ the same time they are watching us work all day long...i would say paranoid but not the way you would think.... making the workforce paranoid

sounds like a health & safety issue. overtime is ok but when it comes to hurting your own body because of tiredness then its a different thing. as shiva said tho find another job first and then give them the notice...

^ u might find as much work and overtime to do in ur next job as much as you have in the current one...
Donno about the employment rate where u live, but jobs are becoming harder to find and tougher to get.
IMO, u should find a solution in ur current job, and if u really wana leave make sure to find another job first.

lol the solution for that place would be for me to bring a sleeping bag into work have 2 hours sleep in 24 hours and work the rest of the year with maybe christmas day off if u were lucky or maybe santa was nice to our boss....

its a stressfull industry because contracts have a time limit which in turn meens that stuff has to be produced before the contracts date runs out or they get fined ( apparently )

there are also health risks involved with dust inhilation etc etc and coming home with cuts and bruises on your hands every day isnt exactly a perfect way to live your life...i cant see any solution appart from to leave
