You can't have manslaughter without laughter.
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."Comment

Re: Olympics
Happened to watch some of that Olympic walking last night. Wow, what an absurd sport. It's a race, but you can't get there too fast. Was probably developed after about 2 dozen beers at an IOC meeting and the next day, they all forgot they were joking. Very odd.Comment

Re: Olympics
^lol.
Watched the women's volleyball pair win gold last night against the chinese. What an awesome match. F that chinese chick and her drama complaining about her arm. Turns out she does shit like that in every match to slow the game down. She got schooled in the end.
Also watched that freak usain bolt break johnson's world record. Man that dude is incredible. Cocky as hell, but he's backing it up.Comment

Re: Olympics
stfu, you know nothing about "walking." there are actually rules and techniques involved, you dont know shit. why dont you go lick some more salt of obama's nuts?
(jk dog)
imo, the surprise of the olympics is the us women's voleyball team (indoors). didnt expect them to make the final and in the semis they destroyed cuba. it's going to be a great game against brazil, and although at the beginning i picked brazil to win it all, i think the us has a really good shot at itComment

more fun info here
Probably nothing will come of this, since the IOC is spineless and China will get all pissed and probably threaten to nuke Switzerland. But it is nice to at least hope that a few Chinese communist bureaucrats will work up a sweat over this

Re: Olympics
god, the games are almost over. i don't know what i'm gonna watch at 2am now! seriously, i've been hooked on this shit since day 1. doesn't matter what sport...when its at the olympics, i suddenly become a die-hard fan. that i can tell you how diving is scored, for example, is a disturbing thing considering I won't watch it again until 2012.
ohh, and we're at 17 medals now. suck it
