    I wouldn't purchase a television of that size for a grand. I would purchase a smaller toshiba 16:9 hdtv for around the same price. Sure that thing is huge for the price but its got 10watts of audio and its rear projection

      New bigscreen TV?

      I'm thinking about buying a new big-screen TV... I've been looking around, and the best-priced tv I can find is a Phillips Magnavox 51" Widescree/HDTV-enabled at Walmart for $1k. Saw it at Best Buy for $100 more. Read Best Buy's reviews, and nobody had a complaint about it.

      I bought a 30" Magnavox from Walmart about 6 years ago and it still works like a champ... anybody have any recommendations on this make/model/idea? Buy it? Don't?
