forget soulseek! come to WINMX. i get them from an FTP every week & spread them around on there. usually up & sharing within a day or two...

^ You mean essentialmix.ca ?? Cuz that is still very much alive and kicking... but maybe there was this other .org site that has now been shut down . I remember a tracklistings.org or whatever that had all da essentialmix tracklistings and I think also ran an FTP.. but that certainly has been shut down.

It used to be called essentialmix.org. It's now defunked, and not in use. It stopped streaming current EM in 2001, when Radio One started streaming its shows. Now it's just the radio One website that offers them up to date, unless you want to pay for a mix from a privately run site.

Radio one EM can be downloaded from the radio One website. I'm afraid it's in real time, and also each EM will only be available for the 7 days after the mix has been broadcast, and then removed, so no archive facility exists, but it' still better than nothing....

Untrue. They are missing all kinds of EM's. They've got a lot of 'em, but no where near "every EM since time began" .. Just check the list. They're missing a large amount from the mid-late 90's.
