Re: VW Scirocco

i absolutely adore the VW Scirocco from the late 80's. I learned how to drive standard in one of those. Great car. I wish i could find one used, in good condition here in Can.

Re: VW Scirocco

I use to love them back in the 80's. I had a Golf, then I got into vintage VWs... Oval windows & such. The new one looks nice.

26K Euros...it's like 40K in US Dollars. Shit for that much I could buy a nice BMW.

40K?!!? You may as well get a Audi A3. Looks about the same size and I'd rather be rolling around with 4 rings on my car than a vw symbol.

Anyone know the specs on this new Scirocco.

Re: VW Scirocco

Guys, calm down, like I said car prices in Portugal are way higher than usual in Europe, let me put it this way, this makes the entry level Scirocco as expensive as a medium-equipped VW Golf, by our standards.

As for the new Golf, I actually got an invitation to go to the presentation in Berlin later this week, but I canīt make it...

Re: VW Scirocco

Well WV has always been higher on prices for their smaller cars. For some reason the Golf costs as much as the Jetta and the Jetta has way more space and comfort.
