a problem i got

i have a question about windows xp settings
i usualy download the sets hosted on the ms board from an internet cafe, and it always works.
last week, a friend of mine got a pc with win xp installed, i tried to download the digweed set from this week, but when i submit the password, nothing happens, only a refresh of the download page.
after this, i went to the internet cafe where i usualy download the sets and it worked
what kind of settings do i need to aply to my internet conection so it would work?i think maybe my win xp does not accept cookies, or i dont know
the security level in the internet option is set to medium
what do i need to modifie?

Windows XP accepts cookies in the default settings so that's not it. Sounds like a pop up blocker problem to me. Check if your mate has Service Pack 2 installed or Norton or any other products that have a built in or stand alone Pop up blocker and either turn them off or add this site to the allowed web pages in the pop up blocker settings.
