Thanks for the tip palmer. You are 100 % right. The road to get there though is really tough but worth it. The rewards can be huge. Just look at digweed. I am sure he gets paid now.

I might be a bit past it, but my tastes come and go real quickly...one month it might be house, the next trance, the next d'n'b...

But reconsidering, perhaps fad was the wrong word to use....

Either way, you know how you just go along, then suddenly tend to notice something growing a bit more that's been (at least to you) kind of idle or just in a haphazard motion.

By labelling something a fad or trend means you are past it. I guess its hard for me to explain but when someone says "this is the new trend" then proceeds to follow this trend, shows me a huge lack of creativity and self expression. I see it often times in design. Heres a tip, a valuable one at that, move on past this to what you feel like doing, whats inside of you and maybe someday people will call what you are doing a fad or trend. Following trends and fads isn't the road to becoming a great artist, history will tell you that much. Good luck

Not a fan... I really don't like the high pitched squelching noises... if there's a 303 bassline that rumbles rather than squeals then I'm all for it, but the nasty Josh Wink sounding stuff... PASS.

303 is the new thing that every seems to be using again. I am glad to see acid house making a coming back. But I try to find tracks that not acid. I don't want to do whjat everyone else is now. Do your own thing and as long as it gets people on the dancefloor. What does it really matter anyways.

I'm done with the whole 303 acid craze...especially with Josh Wink's, "I Am Ready." track...let it rest there.
