Apologies, Feather, I might have been too extreme in calling anyone a freeloader. Obviously, you didn't freeload the Soundsystem Mix because you hadn't even heard it and maybe this broadcast served as a good means for you to investigate it further. I lost serious interest in Hybrid years ago but like Dhar said, the CD release is at least solid contribution.

given we established on page 1 of this thread that this is simply a radio broadcast of disc 2 of Soundsystem 01, those of you who love it so much, might want to think about going and actually buying it? Just a thought.....

I see what you're saying,I realise this isn't the same as someone ripping the album, you do have to put up with the radio crap etc. My point is really that people are saying "it's brilliant!", "best mix in ages!" If they like it that much, then maybe supporting the artists would be an appropriate thing to do.

I see what you're saying,I realise this isn't the same as someone ripping the album, you do have to put up with the radio crap etc. My point is really that people are saying "it's brilliant!", "best mix in ages!" If they like it that much, then maybe supporting the artists would be an appropriate thing to do.

I think that this kinda thing will happen alot more in the future.We will hear certain sample parts of albums on radio shows which the artists will hope will inspire the listener to go buy the cd.Alot of people will still steal the music but by giving people a part of something will make some go buy it.
If something like this is broadcast then i dont think us downloading what was broadcast is necessarily wrong.

I know, I've said as much. My point is if you like something enough to post a reply on a forum extoling its virtues, then maybe you should go and buy it to show the artist HOW much you like it.
