man, i'm dead serious. I think if we started in the next few weeks, we could put some good shit together. I definitely think we could get naveen and foosheen to play. i bet we could get milo wahi, too. (i personally would love to have OlliS play, but i bet it's too damn far to travel for him!). These are just the first few that come to the top of my head, but there are plenty more here. Look, we've got some serious talent on this forum. Some of you might not have noticed this, but the residents and member mixes are by and far better than most of the stuff being put out by the well known dj's today.And I know most of us are on first-name terms with even bigger dj's and producers. And I know some of us (myself included) have connections with the managers of the hotels and clubs down there.

I don't see how a little effort and teamwork wouldn't result in a great get-together of budding and established dj's. My thoughts are that doing this the night before the WMC officially starts is a good idea on the basis that most of the industry that has flown into miami is just bumpin around and catching up with others friends and fellow producers/dj's, and it's usually later in the week that their schedules are really tied up. *

just try getting a hires artwork of the official logo's you speak of. i've had to rebuild them myself. the mercuryserver.com was easy but the MCAST logo original font has yet to be found. If anyone can find it, let me know. I would like to finally finish the Steve James memorial shirt before his upcoming May birthday.

..and if anyone needs shirts ordered and printed, I can get them on the cheap. I have a direct wholesale account with Broder Brothers distribution and personally know the local screen printers who most owe me favors.
