All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. -
Re: Knowing (2009)
Hmmmm wasn't planning to, not a fan of Cage and his accent.

Re: Knowing (2009)
That ending was hysterical. There were actual gales of laughter that I haven't heard from audience since The Happening.
I guess it's a warning that any movie with The in front of an adverb is pretty much doomed to failure.Comment

Yea I am very surprised by his popularity... especially since he lacks that natural talent ... he is mediocre at best. I did enjoy some of his movies though...~ You are what you think you are ~

Re: Knowing (2009)
Cage sometimes gets an unfair rap he has been in numerous good films, sadly most of them were in the early part of his career

Admittedly, Con Air was the only bearable one of his. Ever since, he's been on a downward spiral including his chaotic marriage to Lisa Marie, GOD what a Neurotic pair that was.www.mjwebhosting.com

Re: Knowing (2009)
wtf has happened to him? i havent watched anything of his that was very good since really leaving las vegas. now that was a great movie. unfortunately i think about everything after that is probably generic, or crap.Comment

Re: Knowing (2009)
There's a bit too much trashing of Cage here. Lord of War I liked more than I thought I would, and Ghost Rider was bearable. I also liked his cameo as Fu Manchu in the Grindhouse trailer She Wolves of the SS. Even this wasn't that bad - it was the ending that killed it.
But ever since he won the Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, he's kind of stopped really trying.Comment

Re: Knowing (2009)
Forgot about Lord of War, did enjoy that.
Ghost Rider ... no ... ever since City of Angel I notice Cage has been typecast/fallen into a certain way of characterisation portraying sappy characters with his fucking doleful eyes.
