I love New York, I do. And I would love to live there for a couple years just to experience it. But to say "florida sucks" and "New York" is better, truly is comparing apples (pun intended) and oranges (also pun intended) .

Glad to be of service on ideas for visiting Florida.

she might have been referring to people/neighbors, crime, economy, creative pulse, job market/opportunities, # of bad hair days, etc., idk...
& living somewhere is not the same as visiting

FL is beautiful to visit, oppressing to live imo (nothing personal against floridaorange tho)

^you can feel that way living anywhere. it's purely perception. some places are of course better than others, but Florida doesnt belong on any "bad places to live" list imho.
