^I've been wanting to go there for some time...I hear they have really old kitchen appliances from Russia due to the trade embargo.

Old kitchen appliances and really old cars.... beautiful sight to see as they as so well maintained!

They used to have a flee market in the town square in havana.. they used to sell the most beautiful handicrafts and canvas painting... its a real shame that they shut that down.. was a cluster of all things artsy! I got some awesome deals on the paintings as well

Would have loved to have been there in 1999 for Oakeys essential mix - that's a must for your ipod while there.

wow, I've been thinking about booking a trip to Cuba and thought to check by [ms] and low and behold....

I'm looking at going late December, going to stay in Havana and do a few day trips whilst based there. I've heard Varadero is just an awful european style resort and that is not what I want out of this holiday.

Anyone got any info on clubs/bars?

no in the end it was getting too expensive because the misses didnt want to house stay!

if u want i can send you some of the quotes i got for fly drive, with hotel and car hire.

that way you get to see a lot of the north part at your own pace!

definitely thinking about it for next year!

same plan just earlier (hoping to pay less)
