    Maybe because in the southern U.S. there is a huge Mexican community; Probably there are more Mexicans than Americans, no?

    Probably there are more people that speak Spanish than American language in that area...?

        the thing is that 5 de mayo is celebrated largely in the USA, and not just only in southern regions.

        i think its mostly beer companies trying to appeal to the Latin community.

            Im not even sure if mixco clelebrates it.. I think they do bu t on a different date! not 5ht of may.

            the bottom point we get drunk weather you like it ordnot, cinco de mayo puta!!! yeahhhhh bing on the tequila!!!!

                        Al you are true rocker, manana is gonna be rough, just getting over the onslaught from the Pacquiao v Hatton fight, now that and Dave Matthews Band this weekend, then Memorial Day weekend out here, any chance you might coming out to Vegas, should be fun.

                                        Our little country celebrated 4 public holidays in April

                                        10 - good friday
                                        13 - family day
                                        22 - election day
                                        27 - freedom day

                                        And then if we hadn't fucked up our economy enough we also had 01 May too
