Probably the best oakenfod mix for me is the state side live, from 2003, old but gold

This is the only State Side mix I have and yes you're right!! awesome set. Its the only "latest" set I have of him. Everything else is mid to late 90's with a few 2000 sets.

Oakenfold started it all for me in '99 2000, I saw him that year at Aria in Montreal and I was blown away. I havent listened to him in years, 5 to be exact, last time I saw/heard him was live at Amnesia in Ibiza, wonder what he's up to now...

The Perfecto Presents "weekly" shows he is doing now are not all that bad, actually enjoyed some of them quite a bit, usually throws in a remixed classic or two each set.

He plays Bedrock Voices 2 years before it gets a proper release. Medway - Release 3 years before its release. Both brilliant tracks and that's what you call upfront. the date on the Tranceport 1 Release Party 15.09.1998

This Orange hours mix is just as good as I remember it... It reminds me of Nick Warren peak time.... lots of melodies, but maybe a little more cheese than warren though.
