STONEFACE & TERMINAL BIO:
Matthias Gierth and Henry Nix are known to the EDM world as Stoneface & Terminal.
Since 2005, the guys have belonged to the family of the successful label Euphonic, and have produced such massive club hits as “Venus”, “Incognition” with label mate Ronski Speed, “ Soulseeker”, “Super Nature”, “Inner Voice/ Volcano”, “Blueprint” and “Pictures”.
After working in the background for many years for other known names, both guys decided in 2005 to focus on their own career. They started with the single “Venus” on Euphonic. Soon after, they followed with the massive double single with label mate Ronski Speed : “Incognition”, and it became one of the biggest tunes of the year, along with club hit “Dronwing Sunlight”.
Following the success of their own singles they remixed known acts like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Kuffdam & Plant, 4 Strings, Cressida, and Oceania, and have played for well-known events brands like Nature One, Love Parade, Godskitchen, Wildchild, Trance Nation and Ministry of Sound.
Their successful debut artist album “Wide Range” was released on Euphonic and on Watermusic (USA/ Canada). This album showcases Stoneface & Terminals deck-side abilities between progressive, trance and techno. Further releases of the album followed in Asia and Russia.
- In 2008, Stoneface & Terminal delivered the massive “Mars- EP”, and every track on this EP got the support by the big names and got airplay on BBC Radio 1 and the radio Galaxy network. Paul van Dyk used “Pictures” for his Cream Ibiza Mix compilation.
- In September 2008, the single “Blueprint” followed on Euphonic and on Armada. Massive support came from Ferry Corsten, Tiesto and again, Paul van Dyk.
- In May 2009, the outstanding double single “Santiago/Stardust” followed on Euphonic.
Kyau & Albert supported the release with their own remix of “Santiago”.
- In September 2009, the new single "St. Francis Foley" was released. The track is taken from the album “Wide Range” but the guys did an outstanding new club mix.
- The brand new single “Don’t give a Fuck” became a real clubsmasher within weeks of its release, and furthermore, the track made it to #2 on the Beatport trance sales charts.
Their show “Clubshots” Stoneface & Terminal is very successful on Afterhours.fm , and
their monthly “Euphonic Sessions” is also broadcasted in over 30 countries worldwide.
If passport stamps are anything to go by, Stoneface & Terminal are up there with the best. They have already played Los Angeles, San Francisco, Moscow, Berlin, Kuala Lumpur, Helsinki, Boston, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Jakarta, Prague, Vancouver, Malmö, London, Stockholm, Warsaw, Frankfurt, Seattle, Sydney, Toronto, Mexico and Budapest.
Stoneface & Terminal deliver great cutting edge DJ sets, and their energy behind the decks is legendary!
