This volcano has grounded all flights in and out of the UK for the past week or so. They are still grounded and there is no sight that the flight ban will be lifted until that volcano stops erupting. My mate was supposed to go on holiday tomorrow, no can do they say... he cant claim his money back for the flight either. Apparently insurance will not pay out for flights that cancelled due to an act of god.

lol. I have a friend that bought tickets to Italy a few weeks back. She (like most people) never buy the travel insurance for trips. But her fiance pushed her to do it just in case, and so she did. And now if her trip gets cancelled, the 'act of nature/god' clause basically saves them all that money from being wasted. Talk about being lucky....
