We get an awful lot of free, good quality music from some truly great Djs

I can give you more examples if you want. Then I can't say any DJ springs to mind when it come to altruism.

I don't know, made 300 double CD's of the original mix and gave them away at Cream back in 1995

A download link to the EM recording on his homepage would have been enough. "Spicing it up" with his own and never productions and selling it is kinda meh but Oakie was never known for his altruism lol. Some excellent tracks on it nevertheless and maybe worth buying it if you do not know the Internet and past exists.

Yeah I would be interested to hear it. I loved that PPK track and had nothing against that Southern Sun, but if he really wanted to do something fresh he could of had a go at a new mix using them tracks

Sound has its own way of making money, but what happens when there is no money?

Would have been better if he'd released the original + a modern take as a complete package.

I would be surprised if he manages to clear half of the samples on it
