My mistake. It's been forever since I've heard GU Prague. Well, the one in this set is the WOW version, lol.

18 represents the one-time collaboration with Fluke and Spooky:

and 19 is WOW's own inimitable "Sequoia" (Promo Mix) aka the version that samples Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance but was never approved for release. ;-)

We're well on our way. Thanks for digging up this rarity, Chunk.

Glad to help...the ones on GU8 should be relatively easy to confirm if anyone has the comp lying around and has a spare moment. For the record, Seadog appears from 3:35-8:56. Very characteristic of the progressive/breaks/techno fusion WOW was doing around the time.

I'm not saying its not Seadog I'm saying they are both the same track with different tittles. I'm sure its not labeled wrong on the GU mix because its appears on other comps with the same tittle, artist and remix.

I will check the GU8 ones when I get home. I couldn't be bothered to flick throug tthe CD's yesterday

No problem, I was just confused since what you linked from Youtube didn't sound anything like the exact sequence I was referencing, which is why I mentioned the exact timing. :-)

This was apparently a commercially released series at one point, so hope it doesn't get us in trouble. ;-)

I very much doubt that

Well, I feel safer knowing that. It's the catalog # bit that gave me pause.

All the 1995 BOXED tapes have catalog numbers none of them where a commercially released series

Re: 1997.xx.xx Nick Warren - Sex Mix Tape Cat No 1246

^It's a pity.

05. Freewheelin Franklin - New Style (not 100% on this, because I can't find a sample to confirm, but the track used the same sample apparently)

06. Soundscape - Dubplate Culture (JDS Remix)

07 sounds like something from Slacker also but matches nothing in the discog that I can find.
