Save the date as Blkmarket Membership is happy to announce the return of empress Cassy along with former Peace Division member Clive Henry this Saturday 19th March.
Cassy needs no introduction to New York. She has been a favorite amongst New Yorkers since they very first time that she played this city. She's been a regular at Blkmarket Membership and reason being that she simply knows how to the rock the house. If you were lucky to catch her at Fahad's Birthday party at Santos party house this past December you will remember her unbelievable set. She owned that night, setting the basement room on fire to a packed room that didn't leave even when the lights came on at the closing. That set was so good, that we have decided to put it up for all of you to check out. This is our gift to you! Clive Henry made his name as the duo Peace Division along with Justin Drake. The rolling drums, tribal influences and chunky tech-house was a sound that they were pushing when not many were doing it at that time. Today Clive Henry is part of the Crosstown Rebels family and has been a resident at Circo-Loco for quite some time. His recent DJ Mix on the Rebel Rave Compilation has been making huge waves with many and were very excited to have him back. http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=12844
David Favela is a long time friend of Blkmarket Membership and has been there for us always. After opening for Cassy in December, we were pretty impressed with what we heard that we asked him to play again for us. Similar lineup, but this time its his Birthday. He's been pretty excited about this one and were looking forward to hearing him again. He will be warming things up for this night.
We will making the sound extra special for this evening, so get ready for a rocking time.
We are also celebrating our close friend Fonzi's Birthday. See you all on the dance floor!
