New camera

[audiotherapy]

canon for sure, in addition to their great optics they are very well built, my buddy's sony cybershot stopped working after a year

one more thing i hate this sony properitary(memory card in this case) crap...
i can get a compact flash card for dirt cheap nowadays

[arielus]

new sony v3 (i guess that's the model) uses both memory stick and compact flash

sony v1 is a great camera. a bit expensive though.

if i had to chose, i'd go with Canon Powershot G6

I own both a Canon S410 and my friend has the Sony above. There's no significant difference in picture quality that I've noticed. Canon's more compact, while Sony offers more manual shot features.

Well, if I can find one for about the same price here...but all I see is the EOS300D, which is unaffordable for me. I'll do some more searching though!

This is the best one I can come up with for a reasonable price, it only has to few megapixels for me: I want to be able to enlarge it poster-size without loss of quality, and I want 6 - 10 x optical zoom for the same reason. The other ones have like 5 or 6 Mpix, which is way better quality. Maybe the Minotla Dimage series is beteer for me...

Canon

Check this page to catch a glimpse of where I've been and will be going to:

Kumasi, Ghana

[Yao]

Arielus, this is gonna be it:

Kodak DX 7590

Ain't no Canon, but the best in the semi-pro section that fit's my needs: enough Mpix, 10x zoom for detail pics. Gonna use it for webdesign too...i like working with pics.

And the best I can cope with financially...

What the best out there for something small? I want something I can put in my back pocket...?

I don't want to carry a damn shoe-box sized camera around...I had a cybershot, and it stopped working after three days.

I took it back to Best Buy and they gave me a bunch of probs...

[Yao]

Yah, anyone wanna support me so I can buy one of those top-notch pieces of equipment?

[frisky]

If youre into night photography dont look any further than the 20D. Its truely amazing in low light conditions. thats why i wanna get the 20D - for night exposures...

[Yao]

Shit...I just hope the one I'm buying will be a bit good at that, too...just don't have the money buy one of those nikons or canons, though I wish I could after seeing your pics mate: there's some awesome shiz between them!

Oh well..guess I can't complain, buying a ?500,- camera for ?378,-...

Ey, how much for the D70?
